2.2.1 · August 1, 2026
ReliabilityBetter indexing when a source is slow or down StreamBridge now automatically tries alternate sources when the primary one is degraded or unreachable, instead of the add just failing.
FixMore accurate best-pick ranking The source StreamBridge picks for you is now ranked by what's actually cached and playable in your Real-Debrid account, not by a label in its name.
2.2.0 · July 29, 2026
FasterSmoother scrolling everywhere Browse's poster wall, your library, Search, and Collections all scroll and hover more smoothly now — cards no longer re-render on every background update, and posters load without re-fetching art a scroll has already seen.
NewOne consistent poster menu The ⋯ menu on a poster now offers the same actions — open in Plex, choose a source, pick an episode — no matter which screen you're browsing from.
FixSidebar labels stop wrapping A wider sidebar keeps "Collections" and friends on one line instead of wrapping awkwardly.
2.1.0 · July 29, 2026
NewA dedicated Search Search now has its own place in the sidebar: one field searches your catalogs and your library together, with results grouped so movies and shows never get lost in each other.
RedesignBrowse, rebuilt as a wall Browse is now an endless poster wall you scroll through like a real streaming app, instead of a page of shelves.
FasterPicking a source, in one screen Adding a title with a specific source used to stop on a "recommended pick" screen first. It now opens straight to the full sorted list, with the best match still marked, so choosing by hand takes one screen instead of two.
NewCollections say when they last updated An auto-updating collection now shows its own "updated x ago" right in the window, in place of a plain label, so you always know if it's current without opening a menu.
2.0.0 · July 21, 2026
NewTV series StreamBridge now does shows, not just movies. Subscribe to Stremio series catalogs, add shows from your Plex Watchlist, and get proper seasons and episodes in Plex on every device. Episodes resolve as you need them rather than all at once, and the next episode gets primed while you're watching the current one, so hitting "next" doesn't mean waiting.
NewWatch Now Found something you want to see right now? One click puts that single title into Plex and tells you when it's ready. No collection to build first, and it never bulk-resolves everything around it.
NewA new way around the app Browse and Library now live behind a left sidebar instead of separate windows. Browse is endless-scroll discovery, and your whole library is one grid you can group and sort however you like.
FasterWatching always wins While you're actually playing something, StreamBridge parks its background warming so nothing competes with your stream for bandwidth.
1.4.1 · July 8, 2026
FixPausing no longer costs you a reconnect Pausing a title for a while used to let its stream go idle and get released, so resuming paid for a fresh reconnect. StreamBridge now keeps a paused stream's source alive as long as you're still there.
FixSleep and wake stay in sync Putting your Mac to sleep mid-playback could leave StreamBridge's connection to Plex silently stuck. Waking now resets that connection and re-primes whatever was paused, so playback picks up quickly.
FixFewer "server not responding" interruptions A slow-loading stretch of a stream, especially in 4K/HDR, could trip a "server connection interrupted" message. StreamBridge now handles a slow patch gracefully and reconnects on its own if one drags on, instead of stalling playback.
1.4.0 · July 7, 2026
NewStreams start warm, not cold The moment you open a title on a Plex client, StreamBridge now resolves its link and primes the stream in the background, so pressing play skips the wait that used to happen after the tap. Resuming a title places that head start at your saved position, not the beginning.
NewStruggling playback gets a boost If a player falls behind mid-stream, StreamBridge notices and pulls ahead of the reader on extra connections until it catches up.
NewRewatches load from disk Bytes you've already streamed are now cached locally, so watching a title again, skipping back, or a second person watching the same title doesn't re-download it.
FixDead links fail over automatically When a source stops resolving mid-stream, StreamBridge can now fail over to an alternate source for the same content instead of the stream dying.
1.3.0 · July 6, 2026
FixWatchlist posters now load Watchlist titles could sit as grey placeholders. StreamBridge now uses the poster Plex already provides for each Watchlist title directly, instead of waiting on a slower lookup that could fail silently.
FixTitles no longer disappear when no stream is found A collection could quietly shrink over time as unavailable titles were dropped. Those titles now stay in the collection and show "No playable source found," so the count you built stays the count you see.
1.2.0 · July 6, 2026
NewA Watchlist collection, built in Every install now has a default Watchlist collection that mirrors your Plex account Watchlist automatically, no setup. Add a movie to your watchlist from any Plex app (phone, TV, wherever) and StreamBridge finds a stream and publishes it, ready to play, usually within seconds. Remove it from your watchlist and it comes back out of Plex too. It's read-only by design: Plex stays the source of truth.
FixPlayback freeze during long streams Some sources would occasionally reconnect mid-playback with corrupted or mismatched bytes, freezing video while audio kept playing. StreamBridge now verifies every reconnect against the stream it already trusts, and refuses to splice in bytes that don't match, so you get a clean error instead of a silent glitch.
1.1.0 · July 4, 2026
NewCollections arrive complete, not half-built Publishing a collection to Plex now resolves and warms every title in the background first, then reveals it as one finished shelf, instead of Plex showing a library that fills in gradually while streams are still being found.
FasterQuicker cold starts Stream position data now persists on disk, so picking up a movie you already started (or one Plex just scanned) skips the slow first probe.
NewSort collections your way Order any collection's items by title, year, or resolve status.
NewLive publish progress Watch a collection's "adding to Plex" progress update in real time instead of just seeing a spinner.
