Terms, privacy and refunds

The short version: one payment, a key that works on up to 5 of your Macs, a refund within 14 days if it isn't for you, and as little of your data as we can manage. Questions go to hello@streambridgeforplex.com.

Refunds

Ask within 14 days of buying and you get your money back, no reason needed. Email hello@streambridgeforplex.com from the address you bought with, or include your license key. A refund switches the license key off. After 14 days we still look at every request; if something is broken for you, tell us.

What you're buying

StreamBridge Pro is a one-time purchase of a personal license: no subscription and no renewals. The key unlocks Pro on up to 5 Macs you use, and includes free updates. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card. You need your own Plex server and Real-Debrid account, which are separate services with their own terms, and you're responsible for what you choose to watch through them. Automatic subtitles rely on third-party services and have a fair-use monthly allowance per license.

We may suspend a license that was paid for with a disputed or reversed payment. If a dispute is resolved in your favour, the license comes back on its own.

Privacy

The app has no analytics and no tracking. What we do keep:

  • When you buy: your email address and the Stripe payment reference, so we can send your key, find it again if you lose it, and process refunds. Stripe keeps your payment details under its own privacy policy.
  • When you activate: your license key and your Mac's name, so you can see and free up your seats.
  • Downloads and update checks: one line each, with the country and the browser or app version, so we can count installs. No IP addresses.
  • Subtitles (Pro): the film's identifier and short audio clips are sent through our server to the transcription and translation services that do the work. Finished subtitle timings are shared by film, so the next person watching gets them instantly; we note which license added each one, only so it can be removed if that purchase is refunded.

Everything else, your Plex server, your Real-Debrid account, what you watch, stays on your Mac. To have your purchase data deleted, email us; we'll keep only what the law requires for tax records.

Get it emailed to you again using the address you bought with.
